Adult College are running courses as below at Howick House:

  • Monday, 6th February - Food Hygiene Course - 10.00am to 4.00pm
  • Friday, 10th February - First Aid Course - 10.00am to 4.00pm

Outdoor Pursuits


Monday, 20th February - Gazegill Farm

This will be a great day as you will be making your own lunch!! You will not have to catch the pig, but you will be making beefburgers, sausages, yoghurt and cheese.


Monday, 27th February - Low Level Walk

Hopefully the weather will not be icy this time and we can get out and enjoy a nice leisurely walk and meet up for the New Year.


Saturday, 3rd to Sunday, 4th March - Shooting Competition

We are going to the shooting competition on this weekend. If you are interested in taking part please contact either Lyn on 01772 744148 or Alan Cowie on 0773 045 8761 to register your place on either supported of unsupported shooting, you can enter for both if you wish.


Monday, 5th March - Dragon Boating

Here is an opportunity to Dragon Boat with Instructors. This will be good practice for anyone who would like to take part in the Charity Dragon Boat Race in July. Or just come and have fun paddling to the drum. You will need a packed lunch, change of clothes, old trainers and waterproofs


Monday, 19th March - Low Level Walk

A walk is presently being planned in the Arnside area there will further details nearer the time.


Monday, 2nd April -Driving Day

You have the opportunity to drive a car, sit pillion on a super motorbike, ride in a lorry, this is a fun day at Three Sisters Race Course at a cost of £15.00 per person. To reserve your place please contact Lyn or Pete on 01772 744148.


Holidays


Sunday, 25th to Friday, 30th March - Holiday to Eastbourne

We still have a few twin rooms available at a cost of £300.00 per person which includes travel, half board accommodation and day trips.


UK Online


Galloway's are running courses for people who wish to learn the basics of computing. Tutors are available who are patient and willing to help you learn to understand computing. It is a government funded course so there is no charge to you. All you have to do is telephone and book your appointment for Howick, Penwortham 01772 744148, for Morecambe 01524 414846. Galloway's are sure you will find this very enjoyable.
