Giving your time…
Galloway’s exists to serve blind and partially sighted people, supporting them to overcome the challenges of sight loss.
Galloway’s has a long and trusted history of supporting blind people across Lancashire and Sefton – it has been doing so since in one form or another since the original charity’s inception in 1867. Now, nearly 150 years later, we are proud to work with over 7,000 blind and partially sighted people each year from our four sites across Lancashire and Sefton (Preston, Morecambe, Chorley and Southport).
To do this, we rely on the skills and talents of over 400 volunteers who give their time to ensure that we do what we do well, and that our services are as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.
Do you have time to spare? Could you use your skills and experience to help blind and partially sighted people in our local communities? If so we’d love to hear from you please call us on 01772 744148 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We have different roles across all our four sites: some regular, some ad-hoc; some with service users, some supporting our administration. ALL will help us to help more visually impaired people.
