We’d like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you, who help us reach an ever growing number of blind and partially sighted people in our community. 2016 hasn’t failed to keep us busy – looking back, we’re indebted to you for the support you have provided which has enabled us to achieve so much.
May we take this opportunity to wish everyone who celebrates at this time, a very Merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy 2017 to you all – Team Galloway’s.
Over the festive period we will close from Friday 23rd December and re-open on Tuesday 3rd January. Our last Talking Newspaper recordings of the year will be sent out on 22nd December, resuming 4th January. Anybody needing support around sight loss during this time can contact the Sightline helpline which is open every evening. The Samaritans are available 24/7 and can provide confidential emotional support to those who are in distress. Mind, a mental health charity, has lots of resources available for anyone who is feeling depressed or finding it difficult to cope with stress.
