Congratulations
Our congratulations and thanks go to Michael Briggs, who completed the Prague Half Marathon on 29th March and raised more than £1,300 for Galloway’s Society for the Blind.
Michael, who is an accountant and is a partner with Moore & Smalley in Preston, didn’t even tell us what he was doing this until he told us about the achievement and now he will be representing us in the BUPA Great North Run, so well done, Michael.
Amazingly, Michael didn’t start running until he was 40 years old. He is now 48 and has competed in 55 races, ranging from 10k’s to full marathons. His ambition is to complete 100 races by the time that he is 55. That’s a lot of miles still to come. Our picture shows Michael receiving his Certificate of Achievement from George Turner.

Paintball Action
In association with Delta Force, we are pleased to offer the chance to experience the thrill of a day’s paintballing. Priority passes, which admit up to eight people to any one of Delta Force’s 20 centres nationwide, are on sale at Galloway’s for just £49.99.
The passes do not include the cost of paintballs, which can be purchased on the day, but the organisers promise a day to remember, starting at 9:00am and going on to 4:00pm and beyond. So why not organise a day out with you works colleagues or get a group of friends together? For more information contact George Turner.
