Peel Tower Abseil Photos

On 22nd September, we were joined by our friends from The Accrington and District Blind Society and the Rotary Club of Preston Guild for our second abseil adventure this year.

Once again we were blessed with dry, though somewhat windy, weather and a total of 36 brave souls made the 120 feet descent of Peel Tower near Ramsbottom.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and many thanks to the organisers April and Dave who were most reassuring and gave all the encouragement needed by the nervous ones amongst us.

For 2008, we are hoping to organise and evening event, which might just be followed by a visit to a local hostelry, so if you are interested, please let us know as soon as possible.
