Let’s have a Blast!


Join us on Sunday 9th July when we’ll be painting Princes Park in Southport red, green, orange, purple, blue….you get the picture!  The Galloway’s Southport Colour Blast is back bigger and brighter than ever, can you help us have a blast?


What is The Colour Blast?


The Colour Blast is the most fun and unique 5km run you’ll ever take part in, a chance to have fun and friendship whilst the time of your life!!


 When & where is the event


The event is on Sunday 9th July 2017, starting at 11am. The course will remain the same as 2016 – starting from Princes Park in Southport.

What happens at a Colour Blast?


You’ll join with hundreds of others and start the day in a white t-shirt, getting covered from head to toe in a rainbow blast of colours at each kilometre of the course. Oh and did we mention you don’t even have to run? You can choose to walk, skip or dance your way around if you feel like it. It’s all about the fun and what gives you the biggest smiles!


Do I need to be an expert runner?


No! This is a fun event open to all ages and fitness levels you don’t even have to run! You can choose to walk, skip or dance your way around if you feel like it. It’s all about the fun, having a blast and what gives you the biggest smiles!


What is the entry fee?


Earlybird Adult (Over 16s, available till midnight 31.05.17) – £15

Adults (Over 16s, available from 01.06.17) – £20
Child (6-16 must be accompanied by an adult) – £10
Family (2 x adults and 2 x child) @ £50

Once registered we will send each runner a Colour Blast pack

Your fun-filled Colour Splash entry pack contains:

 

  • Your participant number
  • A pouch of powdered paint (more pouches available via our online shop)
  • A pristine white t-shirt just screaming to be covered in our coloured powder!
  • Your all-important sponsorship form
  • Bottle of water at the Finish line

  • A colour-tastic day out with your family and friends!

Your entry fee covers the cost of putting on the event, any additional donations or sponsorship that you can raise will go directly towards providing vital emotional and practical support for those living with sight loss in the local community.

Our 2016 Colour Blast saw our fantastic participants raise £10,000 – thank you so much!

We’d love to beat this total! If every participant raised £30.00, we’d smash £12,000. Just think what a difference that could make to someone living with sight loss in our local community.
