Galloway's relies on its army of over 400 volunteers. The volunteers help to deliver services to over 7000 people across the county.
People volunteer to support Galloway's for a variety of reasons, for example, to give something back, to learn new skills and to be appreciated.
Galloway's has a variety of volunteer opportunities. These include, driving, reading for our talking newspapers, shopping with blind or visually impaired people, and fundraising.
All our prospective volunteers are asked to complete an application form and supply two references. For certain positions a CRB check is required.
