Community Fundraising

Bright for Sight

Bright for Sight is a day of fundraising which helps to support our work in a fun, easy and exciting way! You can hold your very own Bright for Sight fundraising day any day of the year.

There are many ways you and your workplace, school, club or even friends and family can get involved, from paying a small fee to wear your funky clothes for a day, to holding a brightly themed event with a rainbow buffet, or even a competition for who can create the brightest painting!

Whatever you choose to do, we’ll be there to support you along the way.

Collection Boxes

Pop a collection box in your workplace office in the canteen or on till counters to encourage people to donate their loose change. We can drop you a collection box off and exchange it for a new one once it is full. We will even present your workplace with a certificate of thanks for your contribution!

To order your collection tin please email

Become a Challenge Champion!

If you are the type that loves to challenge yourself, take on a third party challenge to support us! Choose your own challenge, whether that be running a set distance, doing something daring to your hair or braving a cold water swim, the only limit is your imagination!

We will support you through setting up fundraising pages, sharing your challenge updates and encouraging you when you need it most to ensure you have an unforgettable time as one of our Challenge Champions!

If you are ready to take on YOUR challenge please email

Facebook Fundraisers

Whether you are looking at raising money in memory of a loved one or you have an upcoming birthday which you would like to donate, setting up a Facebook fundraiser is a simple and effective way of generating donations for your chosen charity.

Facebook doesn’t take a fee from the money your friends and family donate, so you can guarantee that every pound will go direct to Galloway’s and to support the services we provide.
