At Galloway’s there is always something going on. Whatever your age or interest, our groups are a great way to meet new friends and join in with our vibrant community of people living with sight loss.

We cater for an extensive range of interests, from gardening and art groups, to more relaxed meetings in the pub.

Each of our four sites in Preston, Chorley, Morecambe and Southport run a variety of social activities – many of which are provided completely free of charge or at a minimal cost. To find out more, get in touch.

"The social aspect of Galloway’s has given me so much confidence. Knowing I can come here and tap into that really helps. I look forward to coming to Galloway’s.”

Day Trips

From tours of Pendle Witch country to star gazing with expert astronomers from Lancaster University, our range of guided and subsidised trips are an easy way to get out and about and meet new friends.

All our trips are developed specifically with the needs of people with sight loss in mind and are guided and escorted throughout according to need. Family members, friends and carers are able to come on the trips subject to availability.

Some trips are provided free of charge. However, costs of entrance fees, meals and refreshments are usually met by the attendee. For more information get in touch.
