Galloway’s is the leading local charity supporting people affected by sight loss in Lancashire and Sefton. We are currently going through an extensive change programme as we re-design our organisation ensuring we continue to put blind and partially sighted people at the heart of everything we do.
We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to drive forward the strategic people agenda for Galloway’s by developing and implementing a strategic People Plan which aligns with our organisational vision, mission and values.
Who we're looking for
Reporting into Head of Central Resources, you will have experience in a similar HR role, influencing and implementing a People strategy with particular emphasis on people engagement. You will have experience across generalist HR including recruitment and selection and employment law. You will be naturally passionate about people and contributing to helping them perform at their best. You will be energetic and purpose driven. You will be resourceful with the ability to work on your own initiative and ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You will be ambitious and you are excited by the opportunity to play a key part in Charity’s growth, as well as constantly looking to develop yourself personally.
Based at one of our sites in Morecambe, Southport or Preston with some remote working possible.
