Fundraising Manager

We are looking for a Fundraising Manager to deliver an ambitious but exciting five-year growth strategy. You will be a self-motivated and tenacious individual, who has a demonstrable record of raising income and profile at a local level, who has a passion for building quality long-term relationships with a variety of different types of donor, and someone who can effectively manage and support our valued fundraising volunteers.

Café Manager

We are looking for a Manager for our social enterprise Café in Morecambe. You will be expected to efficiently manage the Café team and the environment to ensure that it is viewed as an asset to the charity and that staff feel proud, valued and part of a team making a difference for Galloway’s. We expect the post holder to lead by example and provide customers with a special café experience that differentiates us from the rest.

Outreach Sight Loss Advisor

We are looking for a passionate and professional individual who has a background in offering information, advice and guidance. This role offers the right person the opportunity to work closely with people affected by sight loss through a new and exciting outreach service.

Trustee vacancies

Could you serve the local sight loss community by becoming a trustee? 

Our Board of Trustees exists to help direct Galloway’s to achieve our mission and vision and our objectives as set out in our strategy. The role of a Trustee at Galloway’s is not an overly onerous one however, we do need Trustees who are able to commit the necessary time, have strategic vision, independent judgement, an ability to think creatively and a have a real passion for our cause. Trustees are there to ensure good governance and working alongside the Senior Leadership Team, provide strategic leadership to enable Galloway’s to achieve our objectives. We are looking to appoint a number of trustees covering a variety of specialist roles which are outlined below in the downloadable descriptions. All our Trustees work on a voluntary basis. Come join a team of committed Trustees who are making a real difference to the lives of people affected by sight loss living in Lancashire and Sefton
