Staff at Brew Me Sunshine, in Morecambe, delivered cakes to staff at Royal Lancaster Infirmary’s eye clinic, as well as bread and baked treats to the food bank collection at Sainsbury’s.

Joseph Gardiner, Brew Me Sunshine cafe manager, said: “As our cafe is temporarily closed due to the government’s lockdown measures, we wanted to ensure our bread and cakes had a good home. As the staff at the eye clinic are working really hard to support visually impaired people right now, we thought it would be good to show our appreciation and give them a treat. We also understand that during this time, even more people may need the help of food banks, so we were more than happy to donate bread and cakes to a collection at Sainsbury’s in Morecambe.”

Brew Me Sunshine, is run by sight loss charity Galloway’s, which also has sites in Penwortham, Chorley and Southport.
